Il brano è Bye-Ya, scritto ed eseguito da Thelonious Monk, con Charlie Rouse al sax tenore, John Ore al contrabbasso e Frankie Dunlop alla batteria. E’ stato inciso il 31 ottobre 1962.

    Mi viene in mente “I’d rather be thin than famous”
    di Jack Kerouac, certo al piano non c’era Monk ma solo Steve Allen, però, in quanto a un filo di swing giusto per iniziare…
